Pac-12 Picks – Week 4

After last week’s exciting slate of games, we don’t have a lot of excitement this weekend.  The conference game is our best match-up yet (Stanford-ASU) but other than that there isn’t much to look forward to it.  The Pac-12 is an underdog in only one game (BYU-Utah) and needs to avoid stubbing their toe against weaker competition.

Here are our picks for the week (UW picks come tomorrow).  Add yours in the comments.

Utah State vs. USC – 12:30 P.M.
The Good Guys:  USC

Oregon State vs. San Diego State – 3:30 P.M.
The Good Guys:  Oregon State

ASU vs. Stanford – 4 P.M.
The Good Guys:  Stanford

Utah vs. BYU – 7:15 P.M.
Andrew, Dan, Matthew:  BYU
Joe:  Utah

New Mexico State vs. UCLA – 7:30 P.M.
The Good Guys:  UCLA

Idaho at WSU – 7:30 P.M.
The Good Guys:  WSU

Here are the standings for the year!

Andrew 24-4 (.857)
Dan 23-5 (.821)
Matthew 22-6 (.786)
Joe 22-6 (.786)
Tyler 7-3 (commenter) (.700)

Enjoy your football, everybody!

Andrew

Pac-12 Picks – Week 12 (And a little something extra!)

Never fear, the picks are here!  After the jump, I have an abbreviated version of the mascot rankings that I’ve come to know and love.  Hold your applause for the comments.  Before the jump, I’ll give you the picks and the Good Guys’ records for this Pac-12 season, that is all of a sudden winding down.

Arizona at Utah
Dan, Matthew, Joe:  Arizona
Andrew:  Utah

WSU at ASU
The Good Guys: ASU

Stanford at Oregon
The Good Guys:  Oregon 😦

California at Oregon State
The Good Guys:  Oregon State

USC at UCLA
Andrew, Joe, Matthew:  USC
Dan:  UCLA

The Record:
Dan
(64-14, and he’s also correctly picked 18 games in a row from what I can tell..)
Joe (61-17)
Andrew (60-18)
Matthew
(60-18)

Not to toot our own horns too much but the Good Guys have gone a combined 44-4 in the last 2 weeks.  Yeah, not too bad!

Follow the jump for some fun!  As always, the Husky picks will be up soon!

Pac-12 Picks Week 8

Sorry there hasn’t been any content here this week.  I’ll probably have an Around the Pac-12 and mascot melee post up tomorrow but I’ve been too busy to get to it before then.  For now, you just get the picks.  The picks, just the picks.

We had another decent week as far as the picks went last week, and, not to brag, but the Good Guys are out-picking most of the experts.  Since the games start in about an hour, we’ll get right to the picks.

Thursday:

Oregon at Arizona State

The Good Guys:  Oregon 😦

Saturday:

Colorado at USC

The Good Guys:  USC

Stanford at California

Andrew, Joe, Matthew:  Stanford
Dan:  Cal

Utah at Oregon State

The Good Guys:  Oregon State

As you can see, there won’t be much separation this week and there isn’t much separation in the standings as they are.  As I’ve been saying, these could come down to the bowl picks!  Here are the standings:

Standings:
Dan 43-12
Joe 43-12
Matthew 42-13
Andrew 42-13

We should start picking different teams I guess.  Great minds think alike.  The UW-Arizona predictions will be up tomorrow and hopefully a few more posts as well.  For now, here’s this.

Pac-12 Picks – Week 5

I’m doing this from my phone because, frankly, I forgot until now. So there won’t be any witty comments about mascots or about what the final score of the WSU-Oregon score will be.  I’ll update the standings next week but for now it’s just the picks! Just the picks.

Arizona vs. Oregon State

Matthew, Andrew: Oregon State
Joe, Danny: Arizona

Arizona State at California

The Good Guys: ASU

Colorado vs. UCLA

The Good Guys: UCLA

Oregon vs. WSU

The Good Guys: Oregon :-/

Have a great weekend!

The Good Guys Pac-12 Picks – Week 2

The first week brought on games that weren’t exactly difficult to predict.  There was the Colorado upset and the Cal upset.  Joe correctly predicted the Colorado upset but his pick of WSU didn’t come anywhere near to fruition.  Blame his man crush on Marquess Wilson for that pick.  This week there are a few more marquee games and chances for upset.  If there was a week for the Pac-12 to make a statement, this is it.  I wrote a few sentences about each team earlier in the week if you’re looking for a little more of a preview.  But, here are our picks for the week.  If you are so inclined, please put your picks in the standings and see how you stack up against the Good Guys!  Here we go!

Arizona vs. Oklahoma State

The Good Guys: Oklahoma State

Arizona State vs. Illinois

Joe, Matthew, and Dan: Arizona State

Andrew:  Illinois

California vs. Southern Utah

The Good Guys:  California

Colorado vs. Sacramento State

The Good Guys:  Colorado

Oregon vs. Fresno State

The Good Guys:  Oregon 😦

Oregon State vs. Wisconsin

The Good Guys:  Wisconsin

Stanford vs. Duke

The Good Guys:  Stanford

UCLA vs. Nebraska

Joe, Matthew, Dan:  Nebraska

Andrew:  UCLA

USC at Syracuse

The Good Guys:  USC

Utah at Utah State

The Good Guys:  Utah

WSU vs. Eastern Washington

The Good Guys:  WSU

Good Guys Pac-12 Pick Standings:

Everyone is tied at 10-2

Thanks for stopping by!
